Stone Path Wellness was founded in 2021, bringing together a dedicated team of therapists with the mission to help individuals heal, live meaningful lives and demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity. By utilizing evidence-based strategies such as cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, solutions-focused and acceptance-based tools, we help individuals move beyond auto-pilot reactions learned through painful past experiences and begin to respond to stressors in ways that are in alignment with their personal goals and values.
If it is your first time seeking therapy, it is common to wonder what the process might be like. The first step is choosing the right therapist for your needs. We offer free 15 minute consultations to make sure you find the right fit before moving forward. After the consultation, you are invited to schedule a 60 minute diagnostic evaluation with your therapist to get started. This initial session is designed to help your therapist get to know you and learn about your goals for treatment.
Another common question is “How long do I need to be in therapy for?” The answer depends on many factors including your goals for treatment. Many people come to therapy with immediate goals in mind, but learn that longer term therapy allows them to dive deeper in healing past wounds that might be impacting them today. Whatever your priorities are, your therapist will work with you to develop an initial treatment plan and will reassess as often as needed to make sure that you are meeting your goals.
Our therapists believe in a client-centered, collaborative, and identity-affirming approach to therapy. You are encouraged to share your thoughts and preferences on treatment at each session.
